@jussinette's post on Artfol

πŸ˜” I don't know if I'm the only one who feels anxious when I post a drawing on social media but if someone is feeling that way how do you make yourself feel better?Dec 19, 2020

Its a struggle, but the way I think about it is that when I draw I get a little better each time. Each time I post after an hour if agonizing over it im getting just a bit better at sharing my art. I dint always succeed, but thats okay. I remind myself it's okay to go at my own pace.

Great gallery btw.

I literally just took a break from all my other social medias also because of this... usually I post it and then I do something else and try to forget about it ahahah

I'm exactly the same as you. And tbh, I just took the leap, and post it. On any others social media I'm still anxious, but Artfol is something else ! It helped me a lot cause the community is so supportive and everyone is really sweet. So I just feel good to post here πŸ₯ΊπŸ’• I hope Artfol will be benefit for ya too ❀ Try to stop thinking too much, and just post because you want to. Don't forget that you are gorgeous, and completely legitimate to post your art !! ❀

I would if I was uploading beautiful thing's like you on a new app like this because people are mean but I combat that by constantly saying "As if".

Hmm I just post and don't linger around on social media until much later. Or think of it as: you're making art for yourself, so it's most important that you like it. As long as you like it, it doesn't matter what others think πŸ‘

I kinda got used to it. Maybe it helps a little if you distance yourself a little bit from your artwork emotionaly? So if someone says bad things about your art (which is totally r u d e) you don't take it as a attack on yourself.
My way of seeing things is that I throw my art on here and then it's not my problem anymore what happens.
