Just have a Lil' question about your
dreams, cause dreams are really interesting right ?
So I was wondering, how are your dreams, do you guys dream a lot (and how well do you remember it ?) Is this more of a "visual" experience or with moods/feelings ? Also have you ever noticed a recurent trope/theme going on or specific elements ?
Idk I just think dreams are great haha
Personnaly I still dream like a child, I mean by that that they're mostly based on fantasy and imagination, not so much about what's happening irl. I can almost remember 1 or 2 each night, and what comes often (always) is that I can fly or do amazing parkour, and have to run away, hide, cause I'm beeing chased by something (that can be an illness, or a secret association like wtf). There's a lot of zombies (kinda) in lots of them too. xD

•Oh wow, you're asking a big question here lol I'm fascinated by dreams and could go on and on! I'll try to not make my response too long. Yesss, I have had recurring dreams, and a lot of dreams that aren't exactly a recurring dreams since it's different everytime, but they're dreams that share a theme or element. My recurring dreams stem from my real life mental health issues. For example, I've had this one recurring dream where I'm at an ice cream shop and I get really anxious because I can't decide what flavor to get! Then I have some recurring dreams that aren't all the same, just share a theme/topic, so I have lots of dreams about water/the ocean/swimming, and nightmares about having a skin disease/infection/body deformity/etc. Another is that I can fly which is usually really fun, I've had flying dreams since I was a kid and it makes me wish I could do it in real life. a lot of my dreams are very random, usually just a big combination of things I saw/heard/thought about/talked about during the day before I went to sleep. These are the types of dreams I forget easily since they are so insignificant and meaningless. I'm pretty sure almost everyone dreams, since it's basically just your thoughts while sleeping I guess? But not everyone remembers their dreams. I remember my dreams often, but if it's an insignificant dream, I easily forget about it within a few hours-days. Do you ever write down your dreams? I have a dream journal, that I mainly use for interesting dreams/nightmares and recurring dreams, but I'm honestly pretty inconsistent with it.

Its a little embarrassing for me to talk about it but most of them are really crazy hahaha, almost all of them are in a different fantasy universe with magic and stuff. •Lmao my dreams are a cinematic universe, I have like a follow up of three dreams in wich I am a space android with a black cat that goes on planet to discover things and all and it's just all connected

It's basically doomsday, I was running from something idk and I saw a large pile of feather on the side of the road. And somehow I'm sitting on someone's house playing one of my game. There's a timed winter event and I completed it. The time ran out and I woke up.
I slept for 18 hours. When I woke up I feel like I could float away like Emma Bloom from Miss Peregrine's

•Your dreams sound so original hahaha! I would consider my dreams definitely vivid and I often remember them... They're often related to my researching (recently Egypt/Babylon related lol) or involve my favourite musicians! Fun fact: I can always see or feel my partner in my dreams, they're always there no matter what the dream is about hahaha (sad note: I also dream about my pathology getting worse and that I'm paralyzed or my bones break,, lol no that's not funny)

•For me it can't be visual because of my aphantasia, it's like a flow of information I guess. And as for a theme, it tends to me stuff that's close to me. Just yesterday I dreamt about online school, a few months back about my childhood friend, etc. I didn't use to remember them, but this past year I remember them a lot, although I do forget them with time if I don't write them down. I've never had a nightmare or a dream I could control though.

•Well I had a lot of nightmares when I was younger. Now my dreams are just weird. Theyre inconsistend af there are flips in time, location, topic within the same dream. It's also a little draining, but mostly very interesting, cause my mind is putting almost everything that bothers me into my dreams. I always remember some little details, like tonight I dreamed of some kids playing a game. Yet I forget most of it after a short time. Apart from nightmares. They stay in my mind forever.

•Its both visual and feelings. When I was stressed I would have recurring dreams where I was a criminal and on the run from the police and I would be feeling really anxious. Now those dreams have been replaced with me not wearing a mask in a public space, which has the same mood haha
