Nice "Grasses" Chimugi!
Ok, so let me explain. In Japanese, there is no "L" sound, so when Japanese speakers say foreign words with an L in them, it sounds more like a soft "R." And well...when they try to say words like "glasses," it sounds more like "grasses."And thus came the idea to make this! The glasses she is wearing is made up of the kanji for grass, 草. Oh, and guess what else I learned from Chimugi and the snail community (her fanbase)? Their equivalent to "lol" in text is 草! The same kanji!

Why do they use 草? I can't recall if I ever learned that bit of information...but the other method of expressing laughter is by typing a "w." This, I DO understand, as it is a reference to the verb 笑う, which can mean "to laugh." If I explain anymore, like why I said "can mean," this will become very complicated, so I'll leave it at that.
