For me, when I see the mastery that I look up to. It's very relative and subjective.

art is super subjective, so good art is art i like!!

When they have gotten the basics down. Color, understandable anatomy, line art,etc.

I think it's their love for the craft... You can be a complete beginner, yet love the craft so much that you want to grow that you can be called an artist- if they're proud to wear that badge as an artist, then they're an artist... No matter how much experience you've had, no matter your age or gender, if you love the craft and wear it proud, you're an artist

For me it’s when I look up to their art. Which doesn’t take much LOL, but if you can show that you care about your art and you learn the fundamentals, I’ll think you are good!!

I think its about how much experience you have. If youre an artist who has improved and is still looking to improve then Id say youre a good artist, no matter what areas or subjects of art youre better at or specialize in.

Personally I don't think there's good and bad artists, they just have a diffirent amount of experience. It's more of a spectrum you know. For example some artist is really good at drawing people, but when it comes to animals, they don't know where to start. And the other artist is really good with animals, but they suck at human anatomy. You get me? No matter how good at drawing someone is, there's always going to be soemthing that they can't do. Unless you can draw everything imaginable, but then it's not a good artist, it's more of an art god.
