I had sold this painting during an Open Arts Studio event back in March 2021, it was a wonderful event that I was very fortunate to be apart of at the time, this piece is called Paua for its background, I had first made this painting back in lockdown last year, the colors of the background make up the sea while the colors that make up the design remind me alot of summer as it is warm colors over cold colors to a sense, what i loved most about summer was the cold brisk breeze at night and warm hot air during the day, where seafood was plentiful and be able to enjoy the outdoors more and the longer nights. #artist #Māori #ContemporaryArt #Kowhaiwhai #design #painting #color #tiktok #NewZealand #Aotearoa #Indigenous #traditional #pauaAug 19, 2021Comments
