Artists who do commissions: are you confident in your art?Aug 27, 2021

Kinda have to be, if I'm doing commissions. When I sell my work I sell myself. It doesn't matter if I'm good or not; I'll act like I am!
I always think that I'm not that bad untill the customer wants something I don't draw usually and I immediately feel like I don't have enough skills and my style isn't recognizable
I like my art but I don’t think it’s sell worthy
It really depends
Not in the slightest. I honestly feel like I shouldn't be doing commissions because I feel like my art is so weak. I do them because I want to grow and learn as an artist, but I also kind of wish I could never show my work to anyone let alone in commissions.
Depends on what it is
Yes I am, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect.
I’m pretty confident, there are some things I wanna get better at (backgrounds, poses, etc) but overall I’m happy with it
More or less, every six months or so I hate it for a bit🥲
No, but I'll fake it so I don't scare away potential clients.
😭🤣💫
