I kinda forget about this place too even though its so nice :( Thumbnails usually depend on my mood. Leap of faiths until I feel my composition is going downhill then I pull out the golden ratio lol

•i use thumbnails if i am making a complete piece with background and all but normally i just start drawing and draw whatever comes to mind

I usually do very loose sketches insteadI don't always use them, but I have actually found that when I do make a thumbnail, the drawing turns out better with less fussing.
