I’m late to Mother’s Day but I got something drawn after fighting art block for a dang week!!Gytha and Cato’s firstborn is a daughter—as Gytha was told to have by the Bene Gesserit—which makes the rival Houses and ambitious nobles on Nivatus more apt to believe that House Dromaire is truly dying out without a male heir,,,so they start tightening the noose a bit. Gytha takes note of this and takes matters into her own hands by manipulating her biology; so the next time she conceives (a few short months after giving birth), she’ll have a son. This news doesn’t hit the populace until she’s several months along—they want to avoid anyone making a move to kill the unborn child—which means she’s stuck at the Keep for a good, long while, though she’s got her family to keep her company ;)May 9, 2022
