Manatee Dragon
Manatees were once endangered, but were actually able to be moved off the endangered species list up to "threatened" six years ago thanks to extensive protections and rehabilitation efforts. :3 They're still facing dangers such as seagrass dieoffs caused by climate change- but solutions to problems like that are being looked at, too.Dangers threatening the safety of beloved animal species can be really existentially frightening. But conservation success stories are absolutely inspiring, and humans can honestly do some incredible things to repair issues we've caused. Things aren't hopeless. <3May 25, 2023
