My artist friends have transitioned into normal friends so I'm pretty happy with just the ones I have

•I'm hoping to figure out how to make friends here or find people who also do gore or darker stuff.

i feel that a lot heavily for me as starting a conversation is really hard or finding someone who likes similar stuff to me. or just they like something different then me that I might like if I ever got into it as well.

That's how I feel on just about every platform that isn't here. Artfol is so chill that I don't mind chatting with people.

•Yeah! Me too! Also because I’m old. I long for the fun community like in the long lost deviantArt days back in 2000s. I hope artfol can give me that sense of belonging like that.

•Natural hermit here that finds socializing absolutely exhausting. It doesn’t really end sadly. I am pretty bad with keeping things consistent, but I do agree with Ixla. If it doesn’t work out, thats okay. We make mistakes and its good to sometime fall on our ass. The more you trip up, the easier it is to recognize our own faults and learn from them. Or even appreciate them. :)

Worst case scenario if I try to make a friend is that it doesn’t work out and they forget me, the reason I don’t try is that in other platforms most people is or seems uninterested, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here in artfol, everyone seems much more keen on socializing! ^0^ Which is why I ask, did you post this because you’re looking for potential new friends? Wanna chat about our interests and see if we end up bonding over something? :D
