HI I NEED HELP!!
So! I want to change up my feed and I wanted to know your opinions! If you like traditional art (especially sketchbook art), do you prefer a blank background or something going on in the back? ( Like a table/colors/something else)
Let me knoww!!! Idk if this makes sense but yeah :')Jun 29, 2023

I think both the visible background as well as the solid blocked out background are cool~
The blocked one makes it pop a bit more?

•Usually for Sketchbook art i like when the background (like the table or something) is visible, like it's in its environment, for me creates a mood and doesn't just float in space. But if you like having a more solid background I think it would be cool to do a simple pattern or even a color (I think you did clouds on your meet the artist, I like that one!)
As for improvement (note: I loveee yout art already its super cool), I think you could experiment with more dynamic poses. I get that you probably draw from life a lot and people you see but it would be nice to maybe put these people in a cool scene/pose
Another thing is to tap into fantasy elements more, only if thats your thing tho. I feel like "normal" stuff/clothes/people can become limiting and a lil boring yk
And then to do the comic thing you mentioned (i think it was you im sorry bad memory), I feel like i don't know anything about your characters if you have any and I'd love to see you make them interact
hope this helps you somewhat
