Collecting Contellations

An original piece I drew after watching the Perseid meteor shower. What's been your favourite stargazing experience?

I was thinking, a lot of Mori kei and cottagecore revolves around the natural world, but excludes the night sky. The sky is so ethereal and captivating, I wanted to break the norms of cottagecore without it becoming dark mori or witch aesthetic.

Around the same time I was starting to draw this, I heard that people of colour are sometimes excluded from certain fashion communities, like lolita and Mori kei. That's not right. So I also made this , keeping in mind that anyone can participate in whatever fashion community they please, regardless of their body or life situations.
