I love seeing others artist Work but sometimes it makes me want to vomit ( let me explain) not that others artwork are Bad ,no! The opposite, its so good that I would like to have this talent and therefore it makes me nauseous to draw :( ...( Especially when people who have "not really experience" have arts supplies that i will never have ( liké ohuhu 320 markers set) so yeah...Jul 6, 2023

I understand the sentiment and it's okay to feel that way sometimes. Something that helps me is to remember that we only get to see the work those artists want us to see. We don't see the pieces where they mess up so bad they don't want other people to share it. Meanwhile we are painfully aware of all the numerous mistakes we make. A lot of people are more privileged as well. It's why they can afford the fancy tools. However, a skilled artist can make a cheap pen and paper work in their favor meanwhile a novice can have the most expensive brushes and still not know how to use them properly.
I feel you. Sometimes we compare ourselves and our skills to others more capable/popular. Social medias unfortunately constantly feed our discouragement by promoting popular and experienced artists and we compare ourselves to them and feel bad. Everyone improves at their own pace and maybe it sounds corny, but I feel like the key is stop comparing to other people and just focus on ourselves, the joy of taking a pencil and the journey that leads us to a good result. And even if it's not good, continue studying and then redraw. I feel like the satisfaction of redrawing the same piece after months or years is the best feeling in the world, since you can see your improvement and your glow up through hard work. But never force yourself and remember to take breaks every once in a while. Sorry for the wall of text :') but I mean it :)
