Idk if it‘s just me or is anybody else extremely insecure about the amount of artstyles they have? I always look at other peoples accounts (especially on instagram) and they literally look perfect while I struggle to keep a style :( Ik my profile here is pretty consistent with an artstyle but these are older drawings and i have drawn so much since i did these. You’ll see it when i upload more pictures here. It‘s just I would love to have a feature in my art where people go:,,oh yeah thats lavapaws art“ without looking at my name xd you know what i mean!Jul 16, 2022

I cannot relate, but that’s probably because I like my artstyle & learned pretty quickly to not be insecure about it (via a bad art teacher who made my friends feel like poo so I toughened my skin before she got around to me.)
Having an inconsistent style will always be better than only being able to draw one way. I remember once I noticed something I drew turned out really different from how I normally draw, but it wasn’t bad at all. So I tend to think when you draw something different but it’s not bad, then it’s growth. That’s just how I look at it of course! And I do still draw stuff that looks wack & ugly every now & then, it’s inevitable!
And being able to draw in multiple styles is way more of a skill flex than I think you realize!
