Asteri
Otherwise known as the City of Stars, Asteri is a rich city in the Northern continent of Domain.Perched high on the cliffs above the great ocean it's best known for its sweeping views, complex architecture and of course, the University.
In terms of culture, the Asteri are heavily influenced by the stars. They believe that after death, if you have achieved great things in life, you are reborn as a star and blessed with the task of overlooking and guiding future generations. For this reason the Asteri look to the stars for guidance and those who are deemed worthy are decorated with glittering jewels, like the stars.
The Asteri value academics and inventions above all else. They are a proud and often selfish nation that sets them apart from neighboring cities. The nobility live extravagantly while poorer cities are left to starve.
