I never understood how people could use those phrases for non-blacks because aren’t these phrases specifically used for whenever a black person died ( especially if the cause of the death was racially motivated but please correct me if I’m wrong)? I get people want to mourn but we shouldn’t misuse certain phrases used from certain groups . :/
