Bio:
They are a descendant of a family that was bestowed the flame of the fire gods, blessed by Suzaku, the vermillion bird. The Takayamas pride themselves in the performance arts--stories near and far, narrated by flame and dance. From a young age, Haruto was gifted with beauty and excelled in the art of flame manipulation, a crowd favourite on stage. However, being born male, their time on stage was short-lived. Fire dances were only performed by women in the family, after all.
Despite that, their love and passion drove them forward to continue performing. Their mannerisms, dainty and feminine, strength, subpar compared to their male relatives. The disdain and negative remarks about their gender, identity, and how much of a disgrace they were to perform under the Takayama name weighed heavy on their mind. So desperate to escape the harsh reality, the young yokai began to seek solace within themself--to the point where they completely forgot how to outwardly show, let alone feel, emotions over the next centuries. Haruto no longer had a place in this family. All they had was themself.May 2, 2021
