Is there any specific websites I need to know about when starting a commission? Or any tips becuaee I want to start doing that but I have no idea how.. help?

You gotta do some research on your own if you're legitimately interested in doing them. There's a plethora of YouTube videos out there on commissions.
One thing that's hardly mentioned is you'll have to do research on whether you owe taxes or if you need to report it as income in your country

The most important website is probably just paypal or some kind of online payment processessing website so you can get compensation. Thats really the only requirement for doing commissions online. For other sites, you can always use a free website builder (weebly/wix/caard) if you cannot afford your own domain to make a commission site, its much nicer then trying to put everything on commission sheets/images to share because you cannot fit everything on there (Like more pricing details, ToS and how to contact you or different ways too). You can also get on Vgen if you can get a code because the entire platform is for commissions and they take care of the transactions. Don't primarily advertise your commissions on Artfol - obviously shoot your shot, but make sure to use other social medias like Insta/Twitter/Tumblr etc. Because those platforms are full of artist who are also trying to sell their commissions, you need to show your commissions to non-artists who aren't also trying to sell their work. The other tip I would give is more of a personal one and to temper your expectations. Obviously I don't know you, but a lot of the time people open commissions thinking they're going to get a lot of them. But its just not true unless you are already well established. You could get one here or there, but the important thing is to be happy with the ones you get, and when you have none to keep working at your art and growing the audience you have to hopefully get more in the future. Its a very slow beginning and it really sucks but if you don't get any for a while or really have to hustle to find some, don't let it impact your self worth because its not an "your art is bad so people don't want to buy it" its "there is a lot of competition in this field and a lot of people with established followings who are more appealing to commission".
