Artist Support! (traditional edition)Something fun for my third year here! It's been a while since I saw an artist support post, most of the ones I kept finding were over two years old, so uh... yeah. I'm still shocked how many comments some of them hadSince I draw mainly traditionally, I thought it would be interesting to make it about traditional art (and I haven't found anything like that here). No raffle this time because I want to do one over on sheezy eventually
Rules:
submit and/or comment under this post tell us something about yourself, your art, what you like to draw, whatever you feel comfortable with your submission MUST be made in a traditional medium (pencils, colored pencils, paint, pastels, markers, mixmedia, collage, etc.), including sculptures, sewing and any kinds of crafts because they deserve some love too. NO DIGITAL OR DIGITALLY COLORED ART no AI slop (optional) tag other artists (optional) reshare the postYou are morally obliged to check out the submissions and leave a nice comment or two

Edit: to clear something out. You don't even have to consider yourself a traditional artist to submit anything! The traditional part is mostly about the submission if you want to do one. You can even use it as an opportunity to try drawing on the paper or in a sketchbook againAug 31, 2025

I'm Domi and I'm a traditional artist (usually, digital sometimes happens too, but traditional is better bc I can use washi tapes
) I try to draw everything but most of my drawings are portraits 
and I have some OCs that I draw almost never xD I used to be active on Artfol but lately I took a break a few times I hope current comeback is The Actual Comeback I Wanted 
There's SOOOOO MUCH amazing art here so I should mention at least everyone I follow but it'd be very long comment sooo umm... First person who came to my mind rn is... Ummm... You, @bluazurea I love your art and your OCs and the way you color and make background...

Hi! I'm Salvia and I occilate between a couple different mediums with a focus on whatever characters my brain generates. These are some other amazing traditional/3D artists:
@bittythings is a sculptor who makes the coolest figurines
@smirtmol - does a lot of different stuff but their collages are my favorites bc of how well they convey shape and color
@little_explorer has incredible pencil location drawings and animal studies, amongst other themes
@creature_garden makes felt animals, the most common of which are their growing army of rats in cool costumes
@sim4es does a mixture of traditional and digital work, which always conveys emotion and detail so well
@metalbotanist makes absolutely incredible watercolor pieces. They blow my mind every single time.
@mithiell does a lot of stuff, from cartography to sewing historical clothing to printmaking to painting. I don't think I can describe their body of work in a single sentence bc its so beautiful and vast in the most incredible way

I almost always draw my ocs, mainly the ones linked to Bomboh and the ones linked to HEED.
However, I do also draw fanart every now and then!
My biggest inspirations here on Artfol are:

I draw a lot of transformers stuff at the moment but I also draw characters for my own story that I'm writing. I especially like doing heavy lineart but I do try my hand at coloring :P
