today’s questionnnn
out of all the digital art programs youve used, what is your favorite and least favorite.
my favorite is procreate, i’ve used it for years and i’m very used to it. i haven’t used a ton of others, but i don’t like medibang. no idea why, i just don’t like using it

Not sure if it’s just because I’ve had bad experiences with Photoshop (I had to do boring/frustrating assignments using it in college) or if it’s maybe a bit overrated, but I could just never get a nice workflow down and it demotivated me from doing digital art. Not to mention it’s super expensive and there’s way better alternatives lol

My favorite tho is Procreate! It still has some ways to go tool wise but I’ve been able to develop a pretty smooth workflow using it for the past year c:
My favorite is Procreate too (even with the layers limit) and my least favorite is FireAlpaca because it keeps crashing everytime and there is a lot of bugs, I don’t know why
don't like flipaclip or medibang. but I do like ibispaint x
I like Firealpaca best because it’s super clean and simple (also free!)

So you can probably guess why my least fav program to draw in is Photoshop, haha (I am a self-proclaimed Photoshop wizard, I just don’t like it for drawing 😔🤙)
Sketchbook (or Pencil Sketch?) . It's not really hate but it's my least favorite to use. Though I've only tried like four until I've found one that fit me.
I have not used a lot and I’m not hating any, I would say my favourite is procreate and my least favourite just because I struggled with understanding how everything worked is Adobe Illustrator
Grew up on PS but unhappy with Adobe lately so I left it for CSP and am satisfied. Least fav was probably FireAlpaca, it felt like it was missing a lot of basic features (it was free tho... so duh)
Favorite right now is Procreate too! I love CSP and used it for longer, but drawing on my iPad with Procreate feels a whole lot better than CSP on my laptop + drawing tablet lol. I feel like everything just comes out a lot smoother and more natural :0 As for least fave, I can’t remember if it was Medibang or Krita (I think it was Medibang), it just seemed really confusing for me. The interface just wasn’t the best for me in my opinion, and yeah I also just didn’t like it for some reason lol
Honestly Medibang is my favorite, came in clutch for me when my Sai stopped working years ago while doing comms
Least fave is Photoshop by a long shot
Cant stand it, literally just use it to make old school grainy effects on my project
My favorite is procreate. It’s so fun and easy to use.

My least favorite is probably autodesk sketchbook. I don’t know, I just didn’t like it. Also I’m not a huge fan of clip studio paint from the few times I’ve used it just because it’s so complicated. I shouldn’t have to look up a tutorial just to figure out how to do basic stuff like have my layers visible to the side (like with procreate when you click on the layer button)
Clip studio is my favorite, it's what accompanied me when I first started out with digital art ten years ago :)

Hmmm I'd say Corel Painter was my least favorite to use, just never got the hang of it. I'm not big fan of Photoshop but I still keep a cracked copy since there are still some features on it that I use
Least favorite is medibang, favorite is ibispaintx!
My top is Photoshop, next in line SAI. I don’t hate other softwares I am just not using them :D
procreate is for sure my favorite program right now, and medibang is a close second. However, Gimp can burn 🥰
Mhh my fav rn is definitely clip studio paint... there are so much brushes and stuff it's great!
I don't really like sai nor photoshop...idk it's just not made for me
When sai was becoming a major competitor to Photoshop, I honestly didn't understand why everyone liked it. I hated it and only used it because it did better lineart than Photoshop :'). My crack never worked on win 10, so I found Krita instead and I loved that so much I threw Photoshop in the trash.
I feel Photoshop in general isn't as good as it used to be in my eyes. You really don't need it as a digital artist anymore.
Last program I tried was csp, and I... Didn't find a single brush I liked in the "try out every brush to see how it feels" stage?? There was nothing I thought would fit in my workflow.
I didn't like procreate at first, and it's kinda hard to get used to because it's so different to most other programs, but now I love using it.
I like clip studio paint a lot, ive been using it for a while and it feels more confortable using my tablet with it than other apps ive tried( photoshop mostly lol)

As for least favourite, i dont rly know? Probably the apps i used when i statted out on my phone, they were full of ads and it wasnt fun using my finger 😭
I'm a SAI 2 user, it can do a lot and isn't overly complicated. I hate using photoshop, idk why it just feels uncomfortable to work with for me.
I use procreate too! And it’s definitely my favorite, but I used to only have this app called Paper53 or something? Idk it had weird brushes and only one layer and the colors were a little strange but it was my first and only art program for years
