I had the exact same impression in september! Let yourself some times to accept it and hair go longer with time, not shorter !

Eithe cut it more or maybe go somewhere with people who know how to cut hair(Lmao I cut mine all the timeeee)

Scream till someone comes and ask them to cut your hair for you, so it looks a bit better. Or search for a hairstyle where you do not see how uneven it is
