This was supposed to pair with my Rabbit Wedding Ring, but stuff and things happened and well that didn't occur. But it's still nice on its own.

I actually had to redo this one because the enamel reacted badly to the kiln for some hitherto unknown reason. But I wanted to see it come to life so bad I persevered-- It wasnt that hard given that I was making a white swan and I usually use white as a base coat already.

Swans are something women often transform into in fiction and mythology, as well as men in some cases. I often hear Swanning Around used to criticize people who are beautiful and appear to be trying to impress effortlessly.

I do actually like swans quite a bit, actually. They might be my favorite birds.May 19, 2023
