@RadioCan's post on Artfol

How do you use social networks ? Do you only use it to post art and RT/share things that inspires you or do you use it as a social platform ? The question might be odd but I've always find it very difficult to use these like social networks. Perhaps because of insecurities. I always find it strange that we get to see everyone's interactions and sometimes extensive details of what they go through.
Strangely, I have no problem doing this and being honest on art platforms. But if the platform/site allow to see too much about what people are doing/who they are chatting with and etc, I'll avoid it.
I've never been a fan of being able to hear what others are talking about and I don't understand.
I wonder I am the only one.
I think Artfol is cool because of that thanks to the collapsed comments too. It all makes them a little more personal. Sure, people can still see these but it's better that way and doesn't feel like you're "hearing it all" if that makes sense.
Anyone else feels like this ?

I think I see what you’re saying! It can definitely feel a bit like intruding? It seems to me that it’s become normal to share a bit too much online, I try to keep most things private now and it feels better lol

Personally, I don’t use much social media anymore. I like Artfol to support other artists and check out/be inspired by their cool art, get and share art tips, and post a few things, but I haven’t been here long. I hope to make a few cool friends c:
