Sille and the Great Disaster PosterHello, sorry for not posting for a bit, I’ve had art block, but I’ve gotten out of it now!
Been eyeing this challenge for a while and finally managed to finish my entry for it! This is my poster for Sille and the Great Disaster, a story featuring my Dinosaur OCs!
Plot of the story:
In an alternate universe, the asteroid that struck earth and killed the Dinosaurs missed, and instead they grew sentience and created societies.
Long after this occurred, Sille, a teenage T-rex that doesn’t quite live up to his species threatening reputation, is gonna start
attending high school. He's taken care of by his responsible older sister Rickie.
Tensions between the two rises because Rickie wants Sille to be more independent, but he can’t find the confidence to do things on his own.
After a harsh argument between the two, Sille leaves on a school trip, far away from his home town. When he has arrived, something terrible happens: a chunk of the very space rock that missed earth millions of years ago strikes the earth, causing destruction.
The Dinos panic, hiding in bunkers to avoid the worst of the disaster. But the problem isn’t over. News spread that this was just a small piece of the asteroid, and the remaining rock is heading for earth.
While in hiding, Sille realizes he needs to get back to Rickie, because despite their tensions, he still cares much for her and wants to get back to her, even if the world is ending.
On this apocalyptic journey Sille is joined by his friends: the charming but slow-witted Triceratops Lance, the mature and by-the-books long neck Lilly, and the not so humble raptor Marney. Will they survive the journey to find their families, and will the remaining massive asteroid be stopped?Jul 13, 2021
