Happy New Year

明けましておめでとうございます！
Happy New Year in the final month of the Dragon Year!

We are already 6 days into 2025, and I hope you all are settling well in the New Year. Do you have any New Year Resolutions? May 2025 be an amazing year for us all! ️

For my first drawing of the year, I created this new Dragon girl OC in kimono from scratch to welcome the New Year, 2025 Her entire design was very improvised, especially the patterns on her kimono and I'm pretty happy with how this illustration turned out. For those who are not aware, we are still technically in the Year of the Dragon, and the new Zodiac animal year officially kicks in when the Lunar New Year commences. I anticipate to draw more Dragon illustrations this month, which I didn't get to last year

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has shown me tremendous support towards my work throughout 2024 despite the hurdles I faced. It was a big year for me and a memorable one with bitter-sweet moments. I'm grateful for the new people whom I associated with and became friends I'm excited for what 2025 will bring. My goal for this year is to hopefully look for a job as a concept artist in an Indie Game studio. I hope to start working on my manga and enhance my drawing skills further by watching more tutorials and connecting with other artists. Depending on how much my drawings improve, I might consider becoming a freelance Illustrator before tabling at conventions to take one slow step at a time
