I return here once every ArtFight that happens 
But it seems promising to still see the community being active, with both old and new members.
I'll admit, I grew a tad disillusioned with other socials, since I began to realize how hard it is to find a community that resonates with me. I've been trying it on Bluesky, and it hasn't been the same thing. Sheezy was too slow for me, and while I like Newgrounds, I don't have the best drive to engage there.
Sigh, maybe I just miss sharing my passion with my peers, and hearing their thoughts in return. I don't like when the process of making art becomes so empty :1Jul 17, 2026

Hey, nice to see you again! Yeah, unfortunately it's getting harder and harder to find the right communities online as an artist.
The community here on Artfol gives me hope for a better future. For me, at least, it's always been an escape from the negativity that saturates other social media sites.

•Totally get what you mean. Posting art online isn't like how it used to be. It certainly has gotten a little quieter when it comes to positive engagement. It's nice to see you again on Artfol nonetheless! I just hope you don't feel any pressure coming back. Also, I feel like finding community has definitely gotten harder, but there are still communities willing to engage. I think those communities are just smaller and a bit hidden now.
