I've known about traumacore for a while I think, and I also feel odd about it. I also cope with my childhood drama through art (i dont really like to post it) so i feel like its original take was supposed to be a community that understands eachother. What I dont like is when people make it into a competition or gatekeep trauma. "Thats not traumacore this is REAL trauma" Thats when it turns from a support group to an edgy club that makes ppl feel bad. This is just how i view it, and I never really participated in it like some ppl, but it is all over my pinterest because I like hello kitty memes and they pop up :×

I think it's mostly about venting childhood trauma. I cant really describe the style in words, but it's a lot of corrupted innocence type stuff. Like with children's cartoon characters getting injured and that sort of stuff, as a way to vent how they feel their innocence was ruined by the trauma they went through. But that's just from the pretty limited info I have on it
