Avery, the Puppet
Wohoo part 2 of the tragic twins :)This is Avery, a winged humanoid, who are usually called 'angels'. They were the twin sibling of Carole.
Together, they were guards of the royalty. While Carole protected the shadows as an assassin, Avery was always by their Lady's side, acting like a bodyguard or a butler. As Avery grew closer to their Lady, the siblings slowly started to draw apart.
While serving in the shadows, Carole learned some things that lead them to doubt the royalty. They went on to pursue the truth, and also, to bring Avery out of their situation.
But, in Carole's attempt to kill the Lady Avery was serving, Carole ended up killing their sibling instead. As punishment, Carole was stripped of their wings and banished from the skies.
So, yes, Avery is a dead character, but they still are a huge influence on Carole :) that's why I still wanted to design them :)
These twins' story has been brewing in my head for the last while. I've had their concept for years but now I'm starting to flesh it out more! And I'm really liking it heheheh (we love to make our ocs suffer don't we) A lot of it is still jumbled in my head, I need to write more of it out.
Also I'm calling this race 'angels' as a placeholder, because idk what else to call them now. But I guess, it's kinda fitting.Dec 7, 2024
