Ultra Instinct
I’m learning how to paint and how I want to paint portraits. And this self portrait is a reflection of how I want to paint, period. Really loose and ethereal, reminds me of fog or smoke. Instinct took over in this painting. I think it helps that I work in my sketchbook mainly. Helps me stay loose and free from over thinking. I’m trying to apply that same energy no matter if it’s just sketchbook work or more “finished” pieces. I think that’s they key for me.Jun 11, 2021Comments
