️ Leoht's MLP 2024 Ponysona Redesign ️Leoht 2024 ponysona redesign reveal (as well as his MLP name, for the first time ever)! As my previous post for my free tier on Patreon teased, this is a full 2024 redesign of my WHA OC Leo's ponysona that I created back in 2022 (you can also find comparisons between the 2022 design vs. the 2024 redesign as well as the standalone poses on this ref sheet on Patreon too.) Ever since I first made his design, I felt like I could do it a lot more justice and make it look a lot more like him than it ended up turning out at the time, but I ended up being so busy that year that I never got the chance to revisit the idea until now.
But!!! With that being said, I'm happy that, even if it took two years before I could sit and redesign his old design, this redesign came out looking exactly how I'd imagine he'd look as a pony within the universe of MLP, and ultimately I think the wait for this redesign to happen was worth it. Aside from his color palette (save for his cloak and eyes) and his cutie mark, a Lot of elements from his old design changed pretty drastically (including me not being a coward and actually making him as tall as he is in his canon form this time), and I'm way happier with the changes made here than I ever was with his old design
(Also happy 40th year anniversary to televised MLP cartoons!)
