Little pouch ?
So, I have humidity issues in my home (but can't do much about it because it's rental) so I found something that could help : in a fabric (cotton) bag put equal parts of sodium bicarbonate, coarse salt and rice (enough to fill a big mug)suspend it in the most problematic room and when it's wet you can put it in the oven (low temp) to dry it and reuse it.Obviously I had to make it fancy, so I found pictures of "Victorian pouches" and drafted a pattern, added some embroidery (I took inspiration in traditional Eastern Europe designs), a tassel and also sprinkled some dried lavender buds in it because why not.
Everything was made with scraps and things I have in my stash (I accumulate a lot of bits and stuff "for craft", I'm happy when I get to use those)Oct 26, 2024
