Threads of Fate
My current dnd character, Sorrow, is a relatively new cleric of the Raven Queen who began adventuring following the death of his adventurer wife, hoping that being able to make sure others get home safe to their families would help him to cope with his own loss.I drew this pic back in May after his first "conversation" of sorts with the Raven Queen. Although I wasn't high enough level yet to cast commune (we were around level 5 at the time), I rolled high enough on a religion check that the DM granted Sorrow a vision in a time when he was still learning how to, well, be a cleric. She showed him the threads of fate and how everyone is connected, but that fate is malleable, and that he had the power to stop some kind of a dark force that was coming. I wanted to capture the scene as I saw it in my mind. The threads of fate have been a recurring theme in his personal story throughout the campaign any time he has done something significant to save someone.Sep 13, 2023
