Y’all know my works so I’m asking you for help!
I have the opportunity to show my work in our small university window (so not serious but hey hahaha at least something) and I wanted to hang up a little info about my work.
But when it comes to finding words and describing my work, I don’t seem to find any.
I’ll probably hang my latest few bigger paintings, haven’t decided yet.
In general I don’t want to be too specific about the topic.
E.g. I thought about:
“___” (insert your title here)
—> I feel like art sometimes needs words. But since my work oftentimes comes from a spontaneous and depending heavily on my mood on that days situations they don’t follow the same concept. They’re what they are and either they speak to you or they don’t. You see what you want to see in them.
Everyone’s own truth.

Is that too far ?
Would you choose a more specific topic? Like…
“Miserables” “figuratives” “….”

I really don’t know hahaha
Is that bad? Am I a bad artist? Maybe but I wanted to hear your thoughts.

I'm really bad at finding titles too, even concepts everything I make is spontaneous or else it'll be forgotten forever in my wip pile 
Maybe instead of trying to find a specific word or a title to describe your work, why not write a part of your thought process during the making of that work? Or what it makes you think when you look at it

•I think that works really well imo! Your art (for me) really captures those small moments, often very intimate so I agree your work doesn’t follow the concept of needing words

•I don't think you're a bad artist for not knowing what to write with your paintings. After all, you're an artist, not a writer or a poet
