Actually posing in general is a tough thing for me. I’ve tried some of those programs where you pose a model as a reference but it’s hard to picture it finished and get a pose that best portrays the emotion I want it to.
Do y’all have any tips on creating more expressive poses or posing your characters in general?Jul 16, 2021

Using human references is the best way you can do ! If you don't find what you want, why not trying to pose yourself ? Take a bunch of pictures while exaggerating the vibes you need to work on, and practice from that ! It really makes you improve a lot, I can guarantee you that ! ;)

Looking at references is unfortunately the only way to improve on that, but I’ll recommend that when it comes to more emotional things to use references from cartoon or anime characters since it’s more expressive and will help you figure out what you can do to give off the vibe you want, of course use multiple pictures from many sources and to analyze em well...also don’t forget to make ya characters unique from each other:)...wish I had more but my brain is no help at the moment:D

I think you should look at references of humans doing different poses or took reference from sketch poses that some artists creates
