Maya Human Form Concept arts

So the thing with the merfolk in the big giant fantasy world Maya & her story take place in; they’re essentially humans, except they have a magic item (usually a cloak or skirt) which they use to to shapeshift.

Maya’s item, as seen here, Is a scale armor cloak (which she wears as a skirt in order to transform). It’s like super heavy, so she prefers to spend most of her time in mer-form and thus isn’t seen (or drawn) in human form much.

I don’t know how much I’ll actually be using this design, tbh, but it was still definitely worth doing!Jan 17, 2022
