The image quality has dipped like crazy, it takes forever to load, the tags crop funny constantly, comment notifications don't always work, etc, I didn't have most of these issues until recently. Like this has never been the best app in the entire world but that's to be expected, it has a small team and stuff, but it used to be significantly better until they started changing it drastically last year.
I really really don't want to come off as whiny or nitpicky because I know how difficult it must have been to create Artfol and what work it must take to continue running it and I'm endlessly grateful for the Artfol team's work. But it's incredibly upsetting watching it go from a pretty decent app to one that has so many blatant and brand new issues, it's so hard to use anymore. Idk. I'm missing the old Artfol

Completely agreed with the comment thing (my notifications are completely crazy), but i'm not having that much trouble loading it. I started using artfol in 2021 and i was only able to use it home cause it just wouldn't load with mobile data, now it's a little slow sometimes but i can actually use it anywhere (literally writing this while waiting for a bus in a different city lol), and that's what made me actually use it! So I definetely see the improvement

I wouldn't say it's gotten worse. I see artfol as a "work in progress" kind of place. Is the work perfect? Nope. However, there's progress nonetheless. I'd rather deal with some glitches here and there than go back to utter monstrosities of communities such as DA, Instagram, ect. I do agree with you about the image resolution problem though. That definitely needs to be fixed asap. Keep in mind that the devs need financial help with keeping this place afloat. Apps and website domains are getting extremely expensive nowadays. I personally think the devs should open a donation pool for Artfol so anyone can donate any amount to help this wonderful community thrive! I hope I don't sound wishy-washy by saying that. I really love Artfol, and I want things to get better as well.
