Download a lot of brushes and use them and see which one you like or create your own custom brush

Maybe you're pressuring yourself to make something great out of the new brushes but what you really need to focus on is just messing around with the brushes lol
That's the case for me at least when I'm working with something new.
Give yourself a no pressure environment where you don't come up with something to share with the brushes but rather just playing with it and see what comes out of it. Give yourself thinking time.
