Ikr! I don't have all the skin tones but I've noticed that they struggle the most with skin tones that are meant to be tanned or mid tones.
The worst ones at least from what I have are Tan, Dusky pink and Cinnamon so I usually end up layering them with a brighter one underneath.

Jokes aside, I can understand where you come from. Its one of my few critism of promarkers that their colors are either too saturated or not saturated at all. I don't mind it so much, but can understand the disappointment
