Here We Are
This has been a WIP for a really long time. I hoped to finish this last month, but I didn't have the motivation. I went through a bit of soul-searching in the meantime, wondering what art really means to me. I haven't gotten a true answer yet. The funny thing is, once I got started, I couldn't stop. I honestly didn't expect myself to finish this piece today.I'll probably never paint a better mountain, but I'm intending to accept this part of me, as long as a mountain looks like one - and this one does. I also realised too late that Yra's markings are once again wrong. But I'm not going to edit it. HAHA. Perhaps, these markings are meant to be hers in the first place, since this isn't my first time getting it wrong - and it's pretty much the same mistake committed right there.
All in all, just tired of all the negative self-talk I've been giving myself. It's hard, but I'm working towards having more positivity in my head. I really had fun with this piece. :)Apr 16, 2022
