Felt like redrawing an Ariel piece from two years ago, but I wanted it to be more inspired by the original story, with a melancholy vibe✨

Working on finding the weak points in my art! I'm growing more comfortable with using yellow hues.
I'm also focusing on values, and my rendering process (which I tend to overdo and end up disliking the finished product 😭 so it's my least fav part)

I adore the colors and the way you draw their skin! The added green high lights and almost invisable scales is so good looking! But I must say the hair is so gorgeous, the way it flows is so pretty. Great job!!
