I feel so discouraged about art atm. I have to just rant a bit to somewhere.
I feel like my art is literally so boring and bland, and I’ve been following a strict aesthetic for my art style because of instagram. I can’t break free out of this box, because I feel like I’ll never achieve my dreams of being a freelance illustrator. I feel like I’m never going to get a chance to work on my art full time, and have a patreon and supporters and people who get inspired by my art.

Maybe take some time to stop posting online and only draw things for yourself for a bit. Try new things, explore outside of your aesthetic, and just draw whatever you want without the stress of having to show anyone. Sometimes you have to take a break to rediscover the joy of drawing for fun.
