Ok ok ok, hear me out:
Is it weird to no one else that Quetzalcoatl, a mesoamerican serpent god is almost always depicted in anime as a busty, white, blond woman?
The only anime that I can think of that doesn’t do this is Onyx Equinox.
I mean that’s beyond cultural appropriation, that’s just weird.
Usually in western media Quetzalcoatl is depicted in serpent form and almost always as a villain, which is demonizing and kinda gross.
But the anime thing is just weird?

Huh... thats odd??? Is it for laziness or ignorance?? The only depiction of Queztcoatl i know of is of Corn from No Evil.

•It’s been a few years since I’ve seen it, but the Mexican animated series Legend Quest does actually feature Quetzalcoatl as the main antagonist of season 1. Idk too much about him outside the show, but I remember he does become a serpent at the end

more than cultural apropiation (that sounds really exagerated) i think that was only an weird coincidence related to the name and the author of the manga/anime adaptation...
just think again about it, it could be a coincidence, or, the character role is the comic relieef, so, we need a rare name
