Maybe I'm too much of a softie, and I know that the show in question hasn't gotten the best reviews from the critics who saw it, but Twitter fellas mocking Sam Levinson's tearful speech at the Cannes screening of his show The Idol's first two episodes just cuz they don't like him and his other show Euphoria doesn't sit right with me.
You don't have to like what he's put out, because there are legit criticisms to be made about em, but implying that he's mentally unwell and needs to be investigated for the kinky stuff that he puts in those two shows also doesn't sit right with me.May 23, 2023

twitter has always been like that honestly - something else that drove me away from the site, and i feel like it's only become worse in recent years. anytime a large group of people don't like a person, they go out of their way to say the harshest insults they can when said person makes it in the news again, whether for good or bad. ever since the tumblr porn ban, and with dear old elon's help, the platform now houses the most toxic people i've ever seen, and i honestly don't understand how they function
