the trending page was empty for me too till I updated the app today, but I definitely get what you mean. hopefully it'll pick up more steam again

I’m trying to refocus on posting to this app more, but the initial 10 minute wait between posts plus the slow loading at launch did put me off. Im glad I came back, though, bc there’s definitely been improvement in functionality here

I think the 10 min wait time between posting, which existed at the start, put a few people off in combination with the long load timepiece to side traffic. With that said, I do hope that activity will rise with the desktop version.

I love this app, it's been a bit up and down but I am meeting a lot of really interesting people especially with the community section.

It’s a great app and it’s getting better, but Instagram has non-artists using it which my friends think have more potential to buy their art. I’m not really concerned with that and since Instagram updated two years ago I haven’t gotten much engagement so I like talking to everyone here.

Yeah, I am trying my best to be active, I personally stopped using it because the usage of other social media platforms is more "fluid". I hope this app starts growing and getting a resurgence of activity it deserves it :]

This just answered some questions of mine...I thought I was doing bad since interaction was so low Hehe...I think this is only temporary since many had experienced bugs and not everyone is patient...also the problem with the terms changing made many upset...I just hope as the future comes it grows :)

I hope it takes off at some point, especially since things actually load fast now. But, im willing to think it might take a long.....long time....sigh.

On the other side, from my experience, a community growing too hard can kinda ruin it because of the toxicity, take the FNF fandom for example, where people started harassing mod creators and starting drama because of stupid shit(I ain’t digging deeper into it), so I think this situation is better than Artfol being Twitter 2.0

it’s such a lovely community.sadly I personally think it'll be outperformed by Bubblehouse when it releases for Android and most artists will use that instead ><

Yeah, this kinda is.. not good. I like the app alot actually. All my friends don't cuz they think it doesn't help anything.

•I agree- but at the same time I think it’s a pretty nice community we have! It isn’t as large as other art platforms but we have better chances to interact with each other and support one another still! Plus, with it not being so crowded it’s less intimidating for more “big-name” creators to cast shadows over others

I like the nice, cosy, small-town feel this place has. Makes making a reputation here a bit easier than the big social medias
