MAKE AN OC FROM THIS PROMPT!The prompt: I’ve had this concept for a pretty long time now, might even make a post about the world building and lore but for now let’s get to the challenge!
The challenge is to make an oc (or put your oc to be in an au) with superpowers based on these 7 types of powers. You can make them wear superhero outfits, or interact with any one else’s oc’s from the submissions with their powers. They can be fighting or just living their daily lives (made easy cuz of….powers)
Their powers are called S1N (read as sin) so yeah— these are the 7 types (based off of the 7 deadly sins)
Pride: light & shadow-based powers. If your character is shadow based, they can only do shadow type powers, same goes for light based. Unless your character is a “reincarnation” i’ll explain that in a different post. They can make weapons out of light/shadows, summon shadow monsters etc. they can also use this power to create optical illusions if lightbased.
Sloth: gas manipulation / weather based powers. They can change the properties of gas, turn it into a different type of gas etc. they can also change the weather. They can’t do both. Like pride tho, if you are a reincarnation you can do both.
Greed: space & time-based except for travelling to different periods of time. They can teleport (they can also make things teleport), make a pocket dimension, travel via portals, stop time, make time go faster/slower, etc. They can’t control gravity tho. They can’t have a mix of more than 2 unless they are a reincarnation, but 1-2 types are allowed.
Gluttony: gravity/weight/vacuum-like. They can change the direction of wind/sea currents, change the weight of objects, make things gravitate towards certain things etc. like the others before this, only one of the three qualities unless it’s a reincarnation.
Lust: mind-based powers. They can change people’s perception of things, read their mind, have incredible memory, mind control etc. unlike the previous ones, they can have a mix of 2 or 3 types of mind-type powers.
Wrath: temparature-based powers. Ice, fire, changing the temparature of the room, any of these. They control heat. Most of the time their powers are emotion-based too so i’d exercise caution and try not to make them angry. If they are a reincarnation, they can also control the weather. Especially when really mad.
Last but definitely not least!
Envy: knowledge-based. They can know information about other people at a glance. They have to have certain conditions tho. To use these powers they’d need to conjure up their “medium.” A medium is something that’s unique for each person with this kind of power. They can be similar with others but they have differing conditions for finding info. Screens, pen & quill, keyboard and mouse, scrolls, etc. these are kinds of mediums. Note: they are usually part of their power so ordinary objects resembling their mediums won’t work. Think of them as objects they create/manifest into the world. If your Oc is a reincarnation, they don’t need mediums, but it still makes it easier for them to find info/ organize it.
