Early Sketch of Emily
This is one of the very first sketches of the character after a major redesign where I changed everything except Emily's personality. I still like this one a lot because it was a move towards improvement in both my art and character creation!She used to be a red-head, with pink and red wings with yellow spots. Her hair as a human was the natural orange-red and her hair as a DemiDragon was an unnatural, bright red. Her hair was a spiky pixie cut, and she religiously wore hoodies. Her design did scream, "Dragon!" But it didn't reflect her personality at all.
