AlarI have a little break in between commission sets and wanted to draw some Halloween/spooky pieces for the season.

This is my OC, Alar and he can see ghosts. He always carries talismans in order to protect himself and I figured it would be interesting drawing him actually using them. He usually goes to a shrine and makes them using special ink. When in use, they kinda glow but that's the extent of his abilities. Aside from that, he's completely powerless against spirits and fears being possessed.
Anyhow, he's part of a little story my husband and I came up with for a fake anime art challenge. Liked the characters enough that they occupy my mind quite often.
