@SERINA's post on Artfol

In Japan, the number of people opening Xfolio accounts has been gradually increasing since Friday night.

Many of them have probably given up on pixiv or are protesting against pixiv, but I believe that many of them have registered with the expectation that Xfolio will become a platform that can replace pixiv in the future.

Not only posting illustrations and manga, but also fan community and sales of works are all available on this site, so everything that pixiv and pixiv-affiliated services can do is now possible on Xfolio.

And since Xfolio has announced to ban the posting of "images generated using that technology," which I would rather not mention by name, many creators have opened accounts or are considering opening accounts with Xfolio. Moreover, they also announced that they will actively work on anti-abuse measures to protect their works from "that technology". I don't know yet how and how strictly they will reject "images generated using that technology" (maybe auxiliary use may be allowed...unlikely), but this site is one of the few consciences in Japan today. 😊

This site is like a hope for creators in Japan right now because Xfolio announced a clear stance that "all monetization and normal posting will be banned" while platforms such as pixiv have a stance of "temporarily stop posting anything that can lead to monetization".

If you are reading this post and want to see the works of Japanese creators in the future, please visit Xfolio.
And if you want to present your work to the Japanese market, we recommend that you do so on Xfolio.
Xfolio seems to be available in English to some extent, so I think you will have little trouble with its operation.

As I introduced the other day, I introduce my portfolio below as a sample. Please take a look. I hope you enjoy it 😆.

This is great news! I also use Pixiv and was concerned with the AI art surge there.
I want to make the switch, but my Japanese is still not that good yet 🥲
