Goodbye CapnophobiaThe title is clickbait i still have Capnophobia, but this is the last piece for my sustained investigation for my ap2d portfolio!!!
I haven't posted the entire portfolio here, but there is one more that comes before this one that ill post soon.
About the piece:
I've had Capnophobia (fear of inhaling smoke or fumes) since my grandmother passed away when i was 3 (left). I had blamed the smoke. I believed it was the smoke that killed her. Again, when i was 13 (right) my uncle passed away at the age of 53 from copd. The smoke has taken more in my life than I'd care to mention but I'm sure lots of people have experienced the same. Thats what this piece is about. Kind of rounding about to the orgin of my motif. Today, (middle) i don my "mask" and hold my breath even at the exhaust of a school bus or when pumping gas.May 7, 2021
