The writing in the background gave me flashbacks to when I studied the Russian language for a year (a beautiful language but I remember very little of it). Our teacher would only allow us to write in cursive, so I was practicing the Cyrillic cursive writing so much that it would accidentally bleed over into my handwriting in other classes and mess me up. I ended up abandoning cursive handwriting altogether and haven't written in cursive in almost 30 years. It was for the best anyway; my penmanship was terrible
